Physiotherapy
Canine physiotherapy entails a thorough assessment followed by a range of techniques including mobilisations, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, kinesio taping, LASER therapy, PEMF and home exercise rehabilitation programme to enable your pet to continue progressing at home between their dog physiotherapy or cat physiotherapy sessions
Hydrotherapy
Canine hydrotherapy in a pool offers complete non weight bearing exercise. Full range of motion can be performed in a comfortable and controlled environment, with no concussive forces going through the limb. This alleviates pressure on the joints to allow for optimum function and strength to be restored. Dog hydrotherapy also targets cardiovascular fitness and conditioning and weight loss. We also offer hydrotherapy for cats.
Underwater treadmill
Underwater treadmills are particularly beneficial for dogs with arthritis, joint and neurological issues. Moving with the benefit of water buoyancy, whilst working against the resistance effect of the underwater treadmill makes this a valuable therapy in rehabilitating joints, strengthening muscles and re educating gait patterns as a part of canine hydrotherapy and post operative rehabilitation.
